Theatre course in English, for students aged 11 to 15 years old.
Course divided into 3 modules.

A.Y. 2023 – 2024 (Students aged 11- 15)
Each module costs € 330 + € 20 (enrolment fee + insurance)
MODULE 1 (22 hours) _ “MOVE YOUR ENGLISH”
6th October- 22nd December
Physical dynamics _ how does a character move on stage (animal or person)
Theatrical mechanics_ interaction between movement and speech on stage
Scene construction _ intentional actions
Objectives: create complicity with your own performing body
MODULE 2 (22 hours) _ “SPEAK YOUR BODY”
12th January – 22nd March 2024
Feelings in the theatre_ how to express and represent feelings
Working on short script about love, friendship, sorrow, anger, happiness
What actions induce certain feelings_ improvisation
Objectives: learn how to manage feelings on stage
MODULE 3 (22 hours) _ “AND NOW PLAY IT”
5th April- 31st May 2024
Step one: learning the text
Step two: working on the characters
Step three: voice projection_ how to speak on stage
Step four: symbolism on stage _ costumes and props
FINAL SHOW
Objectives: self-confidence and self-control performing in front of an audience
Language focus: insert English language in a real communicative context and improve students’ confidence in speaking, involving them in the creation and performance of a show in English.
When and where: courses will be held on Friday afternoons, from 5 to 7 pm at the Oxford School of English, in Mirano.
At the end of the course students will perform a Final Show for families and friends.
All students will receive a certificate of attendance.
Number of participants: min 10 – max 15 students
